The Second Life Marketplace offers you many opportunities at check-out to review the items you are intending to purchase and prompts you to make sure of your purchase. Check carefully that you don't own already the item you are trying to buy.When purchasing in-world:
- Make sure you don't own the item already you are about to buy.
- You have selected the color you want to buy.We have a no-refunds policy.
However, if for some reason - one needs to be done, it will be done via store credit.- After the purchase of a Single Color, you have 7 days time to upgrade it to the items Fatpack. After this time, you are not eligible for an Upgrade.- If you are gifting someone an item, keep in mind that the vendor gives you a certain amount of time to finish the transaction.Make sure you write the correct and complete name of the person you are gifting to.If you make a mistake in one of the mentioned, click the wrong buttons, are in a rush or your computer has decided to glitch at that very moment – these situations are not our fault and therefore we do not refund/resend to a different person.- Our items permissions are Copy. No Modify. No Transfer.
Please do not ask for different permissions. We work hard on our items and we ensure 25 single colors as well as 6 Fatpack specials in the same color scheme for each item.

Maitreya Lara & LaraX

As you might know, Maitreya has released a new body. The new body improves both issues with the original version of the Maitreya Lara, and the developer's kit used for creating and rigging.These changes have resulted in Maitreya having two bodies: Lara v5.3 and the new, improved body, LaraX as well as their petite versions.Why were these changes needed? The old developer kit contained several issues that made it difficult to create optimal fashions using this body, especially in areas that come with ease when using other kits. This was the number one reason why some stopped creating for Maitreya Lara.The new developer kit (for LaraX) has fixed most of those issues, which will allow creators to start making more creations with ease.What does this mean for the future of Maitreya’s bodies and Cynful?We will not be creating new Items for the older versions of Maitreya Lara and Lara Petite. All new releases will ONLY be Maitreya LaraX and PetiteX. This is ONLY about the Maitreya brand.We might update SOME of our older items for LaraX and PetiteX, however, this is not guaranteed. Nor will it be all of our older items. There is no set timeline as to when we will be able to update anything, nor is there a guarantee that these updates will be free.While we understand and respect your opinions, we ask that you also respect our decision. While we are creators, we are not responsible for changes made by the body brands we try to support.Our team is happy to help with your questions that might not be covered here.
